Willtown Cemetery is in Adam’s Run, Charleston County, SC. The original church and cemetery was down the road at Willtown Bluff along the South Edisto River in the 1690’s town of New London or Willtown. Around 1767, the Presbyterian congregation moved the church down the road to this site. This church burned about 1807. Only the remains of the foundation of this church is visible along with the markers of about 24 graves. There are also a number of visible depressions of possible graves at this site.
Among the graves is the marker for Pvt. Francis Legare Wilkinson (b May 1826- d Dec 6, 1911) of Co. B, 11th South Carolina Infantry.
