Secession Camp 4 is located in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston, founded in 1670 and once called the jewel of the South, has a wealth of colonial and Confederate history. It is our honor to help with the preservation of this rich history through numerous projects and activities.
The Best SCV Camp
Founded in 1991, Secession Camp 4 has won numerous Division and National awards, including Best Newsletter, ANV Camp of the Year, Best Historical Project, Largest Contribution to the Stand Waite Scholarship Fund, and the 2006 & 2023 National Camp Of The Year for the entire Confederation! In addition, many of our camp members have won individual awards!
Our Mission
It is the duty of the Sons of Confederate Veterans to defend the Confederate Soldier's good name, and to ensure that the true history of the South is presented to future generations.
